Stephanie Payne became a member of the Mariners Escrow team in 2007. She has been working in escrow in Newport Beach since 1996. She specializes in handling residential resale as well as refinance, 1031 tax deferred exchange and short sale transactions. Stephanie feels very blessed to have a loyal following of clients who appreciate her organization skills and constant, open communication.

Stephanie began her career working as a real estate assistant for two top Irvine agents. As she began to learn more about the various affiliates that are involved in each real estate transaction, she found herself very interested in escrow. Stephanie’s favorite thing about being an Escrow Officer is the diversity of their work day. She enjoys the technical side of reviewing contracts, auditing files and prorating property taxes; as much as the personal side of meeting and interacting with buyers, sellers and their real estate agents.

A native of Orange County, Stephanie lives in Irvine with her husband John. She makes the most of her time outside of work by enjoying it with friends and family.
